The Bozzini Lab is an intensive workshop on composing for strings intended for young composers in the early to middle stages of their studies or artistic development. The goals of the workshop are to improve technical skills for contemporary writing for strings and string quartet, and to provide a supportive environment for visionary compositional ideas. The young composers work during 10 days with Quatuor Bozzini and the mentor composers Christopher Butterfield and Owen Underhill. There is a concert at the end of the workshop featuring the works of the participants.
