Edward Essis-Breton

From 2012 to 2014, Edward studied classical piano at Cégep de Sainte-Foy with Michel Franck and Gérald Lévesque. He also explored jazz piano with Marie-Claire Durand and Rafael Zaldivar.

Passionate about creation, he completed a bachelor’s degree in composition with Éric Morin and Pierre-Olivier Roy at Laval University in 2014 in addition to participating in workshops such as the Bozzini Lab (2016). In 2017, he was a member of the jury for the regional final of the Cégeps en spectacle competition, as well as assistant production coordinator for the new music organization Erreur de Type 27.

From 2017 to 2019, Edward was the pianist of the Orchestre de musique de film de Québec. He composed a theme for them that have the function of opening each of their concerts.

Currently, he teaches in his own studio in Quebec City while preparing various projects of musical creations that aim to mark his entry into the sphere of emerging artists.
